“At this great occasion I send this message to all who have feelings of reverence for the great martyr, that in the present times of war and bloodshed, let them patiently remember the great calamities that befell the grandson of Prophet Muhamed, his colleagues and his family, 1300 years ago, and learn noble lessons of patience from the Holy Group of Kerbala. Let them also remember that Imam Husein and his companions underwent this terrible ordeal for the preservation of Truth, Justice and Liberty.
