There  is  no  doubt  in  the  role    that  Hadiths ( traditions ) play  in shaping Islamic sciences  and  scholarship . This  is  because , every theological , scholarly and practical  notion  which  is investigated by scholars, depends,in its origin, upon the prophetic traditions of the Prophet (SAWA) and his pure
Progeny . On  this  note, we  find  many narrated  traditions concerning   the  virtue   of  transmitting  , writing   and  the  remembrance of  Hadiths.
Writing  of  Hadiths  began  in  the  time  of the Holy Prophet  (SAWA) when  he ordered  Ali (AS) to write down  everything   that  he  dictated  to  him . The  Holy  Prophet   (   SAWA  )  emphasized  the  recording  of  Hadiths to the  extent that in  the last moments of  his life  he said , "Bring me a paper and ink so that I may  write for you something   that  you will  never go astray after me".(Saheeh Bukhari )  This Hadith,in reality, was a general permission for all Muslims to record the Hadiths.
